So I launched Intel Graphics Command Center and decided to hit restore all colors to eliminate the banding and then my screen went to black. I am a photographer and I was getting tired of seeing the skin tones on my Dell XPS 15 not matching with the skin tones that my iPhone displayed on Instagram and I wanted to make sure that I am working with a color profile that closely resembles sRGB that is the most widely used for most devices so I went ahead and downloaded Dell Premier Color again forgetting that the reason I had uninstalled it in the first place about a year ago was because it was causing horrible banding and pixelated dark areas in pictures and video.Īfter I installed DPC and selected the sRGB profile I was happy because now the skin tones matched up pretty closely to what was shown on my iPhone but then I quickly realized the banding issue.
