You also turned IPV6 off on your NAS so we can feel confident that any network access your NAS makes is going through your VPN using IPV4. One solution could be install a virtual instance of DSM to just have DS be behind a VPN or Docker! When I select the VPN profile and click on "Connect", there is no problem and the connexion is established. The VPN is NordVPN and I have created the VPN profile by using the ".ovpn" file import method. My problem is that Download Station (DS) does not use my VPN, and consequently presents my real IP address on the Internet.
